AUSTRALIAN COUNCIL FOR THE DEFENCE OF GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS - D.O.G.S. PRESS RELEASE 118#. 25 August 2005 DOGS SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM ABC MEDIA WATCH FOR ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE IN UNDERSTANDING THE ODD BEHAVIOUR OF GOOGLE
Media Watch, GPO Box 9994 MELBOURNE 3001 Dear Sir/Madam, We seek your assistance and advice concerning a bizarre situation which has arisen regarding Google, the Internet and our Web site. We believe that our situation will be of interest to yourselves and your viewers. We would appreciate any advice or assistance you could provide for us in this matter. We refer you to our News Release 117# on our web site at www.adogs.info which outlines the peculiar situation in which we find ourselves. As you will note from the News Release Goggle appear happy to recognize our existence and our opinions on particular issues on the World Wide Web. But it is a totally and strangely different matter on the local, Australian web. This is the first time we have approached Media Watch or its predecessors on any matter, though DOGS have been systematically marginalized by the mainstream media since the early 1970s. We never went away. Far from it. But, not surprisingly, we have delighted in the alternative media and inserted paid advertisements in the mainstream media over the last thirty years. We suggest that you obtain copies of our last full page Advertisement in the Age April 26 2005 . This particular Advertisement lists previous Advertisements which were inserted because of the failure of the mainstream Press to give the cause of Public Education and genuine Separation of Church and State any proper or informative coverage. In this regard, we invite you to scroll through some of the News Releases on our Web site. In particular we refer you to Press Releases 26 and 27 with our letters to leading Political Journalists. Yours in anticipation, RAY NILSEN PRESIDENT DOGS
